Nature's Path is Hiring a Regional Sales Manager Near Sussex, WI

Core Responsibilities:

  • Developing customer relationships within the assigned Costco regions to penetrate buying teams within each assigned region for a long-term collaborative relationship with Nature’s Path.
  • Leading the development of the annual budget and trade spend strategy for assigned regions in conjunction with other Costco RSM(s) and as part of the overall Global Costco strategy/region.
  • Proactively identifying gaps or opportunities on a periodic basis and reports any risk or upside to the Global Costco AVP, with specific action plans to address.
  • Managing monthly, quarterly, bi-annual meetings with each assigned Costco regional buying team to review the state of the business, present new items, conduct line reviews and customized. promotional calendars for each account.
  • Develop annual promotional calendar with each region for ongoing items.
  • Execute the Global Costco sales strategy at the regional level to ensure attainment of company sales goals and objectives.
  • Providing excellent merchandising and category recommendations to support sales growth.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Manage the Nature’s Path Costco Operations Manager assigned to support the account.
  • Assisting the Operations Manager in the resolution of issues, complaints to facilitate the continuation of re-orders for the Company’s products.

Managing trade spend and forecasting using spend management system:

  • Working with Costco analyst to Input forecasted base and incremental sales volume by SKU for assigned regions.
  • Maintaining annual sales volumes monthly, adhering to required progress reports.
  • Managing trade spend through spend management system and following-up with Costco regions to hold accountable.
  • Authorizing and closing off trade spend invoices.
  • Closely managing trade spend with other Costco RSM’s to ensure equal spend for all items across all Costco regions selling the product.

  • Maintaining contact with all buying team levels within assigned Costco regions to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Education

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related discipline preferred (Business, Sales or Marketing), or other job-related or equivalent business experience.

Experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in sales to multiple Costco regions.
  • Proven track record in a retail environment.
  • Thorough knowledge and ongoing awareness of current sales and business development concepts and practices.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Demonstrated ability working with key software applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in an open and direct manner, convey information clearly and concisely, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
